Laboratory Technician, Biocenter Oulu Electron Microscopy Core Facility

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Biocenter Oulu Electron Microscopy (EM) Core Facility.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of biological specimens for imaging (including fixation, embedding, sectioning, and staining)
• Use of necessary laboratory methods (including preparation of buffers and staining solutions)
• Additional tasks may be assigned based on the needs of the Core Facility and the skills and interests of the selected candidate.

Qualifications

• The successful applicant must hold a relevant degree (e.g., Laboratory Technician or Biomedical Laboratory Scientist).
• Fluency in both written and spoken Finnish and English
• Good computer, communication, and teamwork skills
