The **Laborer, Building Class A** is responsible to the Project Manager for performing duties as assigned. Work is performed under minimum supervision, and employee consults with Contract Manager only for the initial job assignment and where departures from standard practices are involved.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, or sanitary systems.
+ May also perform general maintenance of the establishment's machinery.
+ Require basic analysis, judgment and practical knowledge of several maintenance trades, department, company and government policies and procedures.
+ Keeps in good repair building woodwork
+ Replaces electrical switches, fixtures, and motors
