Job Summary
The following description of job responsibilities and standards are intended to reflect the major responsibilities and duties of the job, but are not intended to describe the duties or other responsibilities that will be assigned as deemed necessary.Under direction of the Director/Manager of Plant Operations, or their liaison, the labor person's duties and responsibilities, in day-to-day and or emergent situations, require independent judgment and initiative based on general knowledge of the trades. Maintain grounds of the Hospital complex. Maintain all tools and equipment properly, according to department standards. Contributes to the safe operation of Plant Operations and Hospital standards and MIOSHA requirements by wearing all safety equipment necessary for the specific job. Check tools and equipment for proper functioning prior to using them and performs basic repair when necessary. Cleans and stores tools each day according to department standards. Maintains work a...
