Laser Operator Competitive + Benefits + bonus Welwyn Garden City Nights 10pm-6am (training will be on days 8-4 initially) gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Laser Operator to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City Performance Objectives Understanding of 2D & 3D laser cutting programmes using Tru-Tops 3D software (knowledge of Boost software an advantage) Create nesting for laser cutting using Tru-Tops software Operating a Trumph Tru Cell 7040 laser (or equivalent) Load programmes /laser set up Set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance Report any maintenance issues to Line Manager Ensure all jigs and fixtures are stored correctly and are in calibration Ensure a clean and safe working environment is maintained Use of all measuring equipment as defined within Inspection Plans to check conformance to requirements.
