Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Laundry Supervisor (Band 3) to support the day-to-day running of the hospital laundry service. You will supervise laundry staff on shift, ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control, and help deliver an efficient, safe, and high-quality service that supports patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and support laundry staff during shifts, ensuring workloads are allocated effectively
• Ensure linen is processed in line with infection prevention and control policies
• Monitor quality standards, reporting faults or issues with linen or equipment
• Assist with training and induction of new staff
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain accurate records, including stock levels and production data
• Liaise with ward staff and other departments to resolve service issues
• Escalate staffing, equipment, or service concerns to the Laundry Manager
