Qualifications
- Grade 10-12 or equivalent NQF level 3-5.
- Experience in a hospital environment and laundry experience is an advantage.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work shifts when required.
Responsibilities
- Distribution and collection of linen to the wards.
- Sluicing of soiled bloodied linen.
- Packing dirty linen into laundry bags and loading them into the truck to be sent to Masakhane for washing.
- Offloading and unpacking of clean linen bags from the service provider.
- Willingness to work more hours and overtime.
- Perform a stocktake every quarter.
