LEAD ACCOUNTANT

Summary You will serve as a LEAD ACCOUNTANT in the Naval Air Systems Command of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will be responsible for directing daily operations involving the pre-validation of externally entitled disbursements for NAVAIRHQ and its general fund (GENF) field activities. You will coordinate research and reconciliation of contract pay denials from MOCAS, STARS One Bill Pay, Transactions For Others (TFO), and Transactions By Others (TBO). You will control the flow of voluminous workload to permit timely resolution and meet Command financial goals and objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining expertise on accounts payable and Navy appropriated accounting policies, procedures, and processes.
