Lead Adult Education Teacher

Job Summary

This position plans, supervises and evaluates instructional programs for adult learners in WJCC. The Lead Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess the learning progress of adult learners who are actively enrolled in the Adult Education Program in WJCC. Additionally, the Lead Teacher will work with the Adult Education professional staff to enhance and improve the learning opportunities for all adults enrolled in ABE, GED or ESOL classes. The lead will develop and implement marketing plans to recruit new learners and GED examinees, manage the GED testing center in WJCC, and work with all regional and local community agencies and planning groups in applying for and managing grant monies, as well as completing all state and federal reporting for adult education.
