**Position Overview:**
Responsible for daily operations of the assigned department(s), providing diagnostic testing service to inpatient, outpatient or other clients requested by physicians. Plans, coordinates, and manages the department’s daily operation, monthly activities (QA/QC/PI), and annual programs. Schedules, trains, monitors QC/QA, performance improvement, and participates in performance evaluation of the lab staff members, including Clinical Lab Leads and Clinical Lab Technicians assigned to the department(s). Identifies needs and assures that all employees in the department receive regular in-service and education. Provides support and consultation to the staff as needed. Supervises both technical and non-technical employees, and supports the Laboratory Director and other members of the lab management team in achieving the goal...
