- The Lead Engineer is accountable for providing senior engineering leadership across one to two squads within a single digital crew. The role leads the design, development, and operation of software systems while ensuring engineering standards are applied consistently within their squads and upheld through influence and governance across the wider crew.
- This role partners closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes at pace. It combines strong technical leadership with build-and-run ownership, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, observable, and cost-effective to operate.
