Summary About the Position: The purpose of this position is to serve as the Lead Human Resources Technician (OA) responsible for directing and guiding 3-5 Human Resources Technicians in GS-203-05 or military equivalent. Incumbent of this position provides technical expertise, guidance and leadership to the Processing Element of the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). This position will be filled on a permanent basis. Responsibilities Coach, facilitate, resolve work problems and participate in the work of the MEPS Processing Element. Provide input to supervisor on performance, progress, and training needs of employees, and on disciplinary problems. Perform Human Resources Assistant duties identical to those led. Certifies that enlistment has been properly conducted by verifying system displayed contract is complete and all additional disclosed information has been supplied to the service representative.
