Step into a principal-level role where you guide high-voltage substation projects from spark to switch-on. As the Lead HV Substation Project Engineer (Grid Integration), you’ll manage internal substation initiatives from early concept through construction and commissioning—all while working remotely and traveling to Juno Beach, FL on a bi-monthly basis. This is a 1-year W-2 contract opportunity.

You begin by aligning with the Early-Stage Project Manager and Development teams to scope engineering needs—sometimes for FERC 1000 transmission proposals, other times for true greenfield builds. You orchestrate project meetings, keep an eagle eye on progress, and turn issues into action with measurable results. You secure engineering consulting partners via NEER’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), define scopes of work, run competitive bids, and award packages.
