Job Description
Responsibilities
Lead the development of engineering deliverables and schedule for Marine System for candidate tanker refurbishment/conversion; ensure safe, fit‑for‑purpose, robust and cost‑effective floating offshore facilities design and operation. Lead the development of marine system design and operation philosophy, basis of design, functional specification and SOW for MSQ / RFQ of marine engineering sub‑contracting services. Lead the execution of all engineering deliverables as per project planning and schedule. Interface with Client’s and DDE Contractor for marine discipline. Carry out follow‑on engineering at the conversion yard.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in engineering design of marine system for floating offshore facilities
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as Marine Engineer onboard Oil Tanker, including specific experience in tanker conversion
