Job Title: Lead Mechanical EngineerJob Description
The Lead Mechanical Engineer will design custom equipment using SolidWorks software and oversee all assigned equipment design and build projects through to completion, providing engineering support to the machine design staff. The role requires proactive communication and customer interaction to ensure high-value solutions are provided to meet application requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Design custom and standard equipment based on thorough understanding of customers' specifications and application needs, using accepted engineering practices and industry standards.
+ Design mechanical systems and mechanisms, such as pallet dispensers, slip sheet dispensers, pick and place systems, and more.
+ Use hand calculations and FEA to evaluate designs.
+ Design and produce schematics for hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
