Job Description
Post Contract Commercial Lead for larger value projects which include the management of junior commercial team.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities- Assessment of the tender BOQ (Bill Of Quantities) vs the IFC (Issued For Construction) information received to update the BOQ accordingly.
- Float enquiries for obtaining final offers from supply chain and adjudicate updated quotations received.
- Prepare sub-contract orders and purchase orders; including drawings, Programme & BOQ’s.
- Detect Variations and Changes to the Contract in liaison with the Project team.
- Prepare, Negotiate and Conclude Variations and Claims with Sub Contractors and Clients’.
- Prepare monthly project valuation and to ensure timely submittal to the employer.
- Procure all necessary insurances and bonds for the project.
- Review and issue monthly payment certificates to subcontractors based upon the progress of works at site. ...
