Lead - Radio Imaging/Procedural Assistants

Monitors and facilitates patient transports throughout the Radiology department and with the nursing staff. Provides an additional presence of leadership within the department. Assist with supervisory duties (scheduling, timekeeping, etc.) and acts in the supervisor’s absence. Regularly check equipment and supplies reporting shortages, repairs, or needs. Assists and help oversee department projects, as directed by the supervisor.

Responsible for completing patient transports and patient related items in a safe and timely manner, maintain clean equipment, interact politely and professionally with patients, guests and allied health staff. Abides by HIPPA regulations. Functions independently and as a team member. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation of multiple types of motorized patient transport equipment.
