Lead Software Development Engineer in Test

Leads and reports on reviews and tests of software systems and products to verify compliance with applicable specifications and standards.

• Works with software developers to resolve issues of incompliance through system modification, reconfiguration or workarounds.
• Participates in planning and estimating quality assurance support requirements for new products, new functions and new components. Participates in audits and reviews.
• Monitors adherence to quality standards in the development, implementation and upkeep of software products. Monitors effectiveness of the assurance process and tools.
• Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams.
• Coaches junior team members and may participate in interviews of new hires
