Description
Join Ophthalmology's Cataract & Refractive Surgery team as a Lead Ultrasound Technologist, where you'll combine your technical expertise with leadership in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. In this role, you'll oversee the daily operations of the Anterior Segment Diagnostic Laboratory while performing advanced diagnostic testing that directly supports exceptional patient care and outstanding surgical outcomes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform advanced ophthalmic diagnostic testing, including A-scans, B-scans, ultrasound biomicroscopy, OCTs, corneal topography and tomography, endothelial cell counts (ECC), fundus photography, slit lamp photography, and IOL power calculations.
+ Conduct specialized echographic examinations, including examinations under anesthesia.
+ Oversee the daily operations of the diagnostic laboratory and ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
