Lead Utilities Operator [s]

**Description**

**General Summary:**

This is a working Lead position where the incumbent takes an active hands-on role in the completion of the work. Performs maintenance and repair of the Utilities Control Systems. The UCS consists of direct digital controls for the heating ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as all major utility components like chillers, air handlers, and pumps. Also included is responsibility for Facility Systems Operators in room 113-8, Central Communications and I.T. Network System.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Assures the proper Preventative Maintenance (PM), repair, and replacement of Utilities Controls Systems and Fire System components. Tasks include trouble shooting of direct digital control systems, programming, changing of sensors, fire systems and mechanical devices.
