As Leading Hand Gardener, you’ll be at the forefront of our grounds maintenance and landscaping operations, ensuring our public spaces are attractive, safe and well cared for. You will lead a small, dedicated team responsible for maintaining garden beds, street plantings and parks across the city, planning and coordinating day‑to‑day tasks to keep everything looking its best.

Responsibilities

• Work hands‑on with your team, providing guidance, coaching and support while monitoring quality, health and safety, and efficient use of resources.
• Schedule and prioritise work, liaise with supervisors and other teams as needed, and contribute ideas for improving planting, maintenance practices and seasonal displays.
