Learning Support Assistant 

Start Date: Wednesday 2nd September 2026 

Contract Type: Full time position - Term time only

Salary for Full-time equivalent: Sc5 32.5hrs (£32,070 Pro-Rata)

Hours: 8.30 am – 3.30 pm with 30 minutes lunch break

We are looking to appoint a full time Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.

We are looking for a candidate who:

●Is qualified to GCSE level in English and Mathematics and is competent in IT

● Has experienced of working in a school environment or educational setting

● Has experience of working with pupils with special educational needs

● Has the ability to run intervention programmes and plan and deliver sessions for individuals or small groups

● Is a proactive team member

● Is able to build relationships with parents, staff and children
