Job Description
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Nursing in the School of Health Sciences.
The position is full-time.
What the role isThe role involves delivering teaching, pastoral support, and academic duties in the Nursing department.
What you will be working on- Plan, develop, and deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for Diploma and/or Specialist Diploma, Advanced Diploma courses in at least two of the following areas:
- Palliative Care Nursing
- Peri-operative Nursing
- Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Community Health Nursing
- Paediatric Nursing
- Geriatric Nursing
- Mental Health Nursing
- Nursing Research
- Integrated Nursing Science
- Pharmacology
- Implement the latest ICT-enabled learning pedagogies and support the development of these tools.
- Provide pastoral care to students to support learning.
