Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available within the construction industry for a Legal Advisor.
The position is based in Plattekloof, Cape Town.
Duties & Responsibilities
Legal support:
- Providing general legal support to the different divisions of the company: Finance & Management Support / Management Program / FCA’s / Professional Services.
- Drafting of legal documentation, including contract templates, default notices, PSP appointment letters, etc. e.g. Sub-consultant, PROCSA and CIDB templates and Addenda.
- Vetting and compliance: All legal documentation drafted on behalf of third-party funders.
- Monitoring ongoing litigation and disputes, vetting court documentation where applicable.
- Liaising with employers and/or Consultants on legal matters on behalf of the company and/or clients.
- Attending to registration of securities and signing of irrevocable payment undertakings and perfecting of securities....
