Legal and Project Coordinator

About the Role:

We are partnering with a public-sector organisation to recruit an experienced Legal & Project Coordinator to provide senior-level legal, commercial, and risk coordination support. This role will suit an experienced legal professional who enjoys mentoring others and managing complex legal and corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities

Provide senior paralegal and legal services to internal stakeholders

Provide guidance, feedback, and mentoring to junior legal team members on legal and commercial matters

Liaise and negotiate with external parties on complex legal issues

Prepare and review complex legal and commercial correspondence and reports

Negotiate, prepare, and review complex legal and non-legal documents, including commercial agreements 

Brief and review advice from the State Solicitor’s Office and external law firms and communicate outcomes to internal stakeholders
