Job Description
The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is an arm‑length federal agency responsible for the shared stewardship of the lands and waters that make up the Port of Vancouver, Canada’s largest port. Legal Counsel (term up to 14 months)
The Legal Counsel is responsible for providing a wide variety of legal services including drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts; managing real estate and corporate transactions; and advising on other matters typical in a general solicitor practice.
What You Do
- Provides technical legal services, including negotiating legal rights and obligations on behalf of the VFPA, drafting contracts and other documents, and supporting the VFPA in legal and administrative proceedings.
