Librarian - Primary & Secondary

Job Summary:

The School Librarian is responsible for managing the school library fostering a love for reading and supporting students and teachers by providing access to a variety of educational resources. The librarian ensures the library functions as an effective learning space promotes literacy programs and integrates technology to enhance research and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Library Management & Organization:

• Maintain an organized updated and accessible collection of books digital resources and reference materials.
• Develop and implement library policies procedures and borrowing systems.
• Classify catalog and label new materials according to standard library practices.
• Ensure the library is well-maintained welcoming and conducive to learning.

Supporting Students & Staff:

• Assist students in developing research and information literacy skills.
