Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 119 bed inpatient behavioral health facility with numerous outpatient programs which span the entire continuum of care. The beautiful 52-acre rural campus is located minutes outside of State College in Central PA. The Meadows provides comprehensive care to children through adults. The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON. The Licensed Practical Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education. The Licensed Practical Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.
