We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness.

The Licensed Practical Nurses’ responsibilities include the following:

• · Provides general nursing care as required. · Develops a therapeutic relationship with assigned residents. · Distribute medication as prescribed and properly maintain the MARS. · Serve as a role model for residents and peers. · Establish and maintain professional contact with the resident’s physician and psychotherapist to assist in planning the resident’s care. · Model and teach appropriate life skills to the patients. · Admits, discharges and transfers residents based on physician’s orders and sometimes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. · Intervene appropriately to de-escalate residents as needed.
