To support students, teachers, and administrators by providing guidance, leadership, expertise, and instruction to improve literacy achievement for all students in all content areas (reading, writing, math, social studies, science). 2. To effectively assess and diagnose student literacy needs and design and deliver literacy instruction. Essential Responsibilities Implements GPS literacy curriculum consistent with school district goals, mission, and vision, along with the Connecticut State Standards for Language Arts.
