Job Description
A law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Litigation department. This role supports a broad range of commercial litigation matters and is ideal for a lawyer with strong advocacy, drafting, and file management skills who is looking to continue building a sophisticated litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial litigation files from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motion materials, correspondence, and other litigation documents
- Attend court appearances, discoveries, mediations, and hearings
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on litigation matters
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with preparing cases for trial, including organizing evidence and coordinating witnesses
