Job Description
Responsibilities
- Load and unload aircraft and company vehicles, sort packages, and provide efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
- Check packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content (weight and size), proper wrapping, insurance values, and special requirements for hazardous material shipments.
- Provide necessary paperwork related to pickup and delivery of packages, such as airway bills, delivery records, and vehicle condition reports, with neatness and accuracy.
- Seek additional business from current customers; if unsuccessful, pass lead to Sales Manager.
- Inform Station Operations Manager and Sales of changes in customer/competitor efforts.
- Load and unload company aircraft and vehicles safely.
- Audit size and weight of packages and boxes and sort accordingly.
- Ensure use of safety equipment and full compliance with safety policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
