Overview

Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a Loads and Aeroelastics Engineer to join the Control, Simulation and Dynamics group. 

The capability group is responsible for all modelling and analysis capabilities including system performance, control theory, fluid dynamics and structural dynamics. The Loads and Aeroelastics sub team carry out diverse activities including:

  • Computation of ground loads and flight loads 
  • Vibration analysis
  • Flight physics activities
  • Support to certification
  • Prediction and analysis of flutter
  • Landing gear shimmy analysis
  • Landing gear shock absorber design
  • Load alleviation functions
  • The team work on an array of different projects, including concept phase trades, equipment and aircraft design activities, through to certification activities and ground and flight test support. We work for large aerospace OEMs on established programme...
