Locum Consultant Anaesthetist (Lw) (Santiago)

CONSULTANT ANAESTHETIST – FIXED TERM 6 Months

Applications are welcome for the above fixed term post based at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

We are looking to appoint a Consultant Anaesthetist to complement a department of over 40 people in a busy District General Hospital.

We provide anaesthesia for a wide range of speciality surgery including Robotics, General Surgery, Breast, ENT, Maxillofacial, Obstetrics, Gynaecology (general and oncology), Trauma and Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and Paediatrics.

Day surgery is performed at a stand‑alone unit in Dunfermline.

We also provide support to an onsite National Treatment Centre for elective Orthopaedic work.

Qualifications:

• Medical postgraduate qualification (e.g. FRCA, MRCP, FFICM, etc.).
• Full GMC Registration, licence to practise and eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
