Newham Hospital Department of Anaesthetics has undergone significant expansion, driven by the implementation of the Barts Health Surgical Strategy. Within this trust wide strategy Newham has established itself as a high-volume low acuity surgical hub catering for a range of specialties including elective orthopaedics in the Gateway Surgical Centre.

We are seeking a Locum Anaesthetist who share our values and vision to join our team of consultants to enable this to happen. You will need to be committed and keen, able to work collaboratively with diverse groups, and be able to show leadership and integrity. As one of our Locum Anaesthetists, you will be expected to take a role within the managerial structure of the department, and you will demonstrate a commitment to education, supporting the junior staff in their professional development.
