Job Description
Responsibilities
- Input each pre-alert received (Mawb, BL, Courier waybills, and D.O. care-off parties) into the LMS software and Excel list.
- Create labels for every shipment.
- Enter all shipments that have been received (updating the Excel spreadsheet and LMS software).
- Put all paperwork in the appropriate vessel file.
- Verify and organise the upcoming day's supplies to the ship.
- Create a packing list before packing.
- For deliveries the following day, print the delivery note.
- Prepare the landing permit for the boarding officer.
- Pack and check (aided by warehouse personnel).
- Ensure every package is marked and has a photo taken for documentation.
- Update the warehouse loading sheet with location details.
- After packing, keep everything safe and tidy.
- Communicate with every Care-Off party present at the barge terminal (Loading Information).
