LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. Responsibilities As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as a U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) functional expert for bulk fuel and logistics operational planning, distribution, transportation, and supply chain management processes. Serves as the DOD's Petroleum War Reserve Requirement generation and validation subject matter expert (SME). Serves as a bulk fuel planning SME on studies and wargames assessing liquid energy to the OSD, Joint Staff, CCMDs and Military Services. Serves as a senior representative and spokesperson in communicating program and project matters; establishes and develops effective working relationships with counterparts at GCCs, Military Services, OSD, government agencies, commercial, and non-government organizations.
