Job Description
Logistics Manager
Our client is currently hiring for the position of Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Negotiate and secure competitive freight rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Coordinate and arrange container placement for cargo loading.
• Monitor and track cargo movements to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee shipping operations and ensure smooth execution of cargo shipments.
• Plan and schedule vessel bookings in line with shipment requirements.
• Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and customers to ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Resolve shipping and logistics issues promptly to minimize delays and additional costs.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
