Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and submit accurate customs documentation (invoices, air waybills, packing lists, HS codes) in compliance with UAE customs regulations and international trade standards.
- Use JDL and other customs platforms to manage documentation and ensure adherence to UAE, GCC, and international trade laws, including bonded zones and exemptions.
- Handle import/export clearance for air, sea, and land shipments (FCL, LCL, break bulk, B2B, B2C), coordinating with customs authorities, free zones (e.g., JAFZA), and mainland UAE.
- Calculate and process customs duties/taxes accurately, ensuring timely payments and maintaining reconciled financial records.
- Prepare invoices for duties, taxes, and clearance fees; coordinate with finance to resolve disputes and ensure collections.
