Job Description
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily yard operations, including material staging, loading, offloading, and storage
- Coordinate loading schedules and dispatch priorities to meet project delivery deadlines
- Ensure the safe and accurate loading of trucks and trailers in accordance with dispatch requirements
- Conduct pre-dispatch inspections and verify material readiness with relevant departments
- Manage yard space, stock movement, and material flow to optimise operational efficiency
- Lead and support yard personnel, ensuring compliance with safety, housekeeping, and security standards
- Monitor loading equipment and ensure safe handling practices are followed
- Liaise with dispatch, stores, and production teams to coordinate inbound and outbound materials
