LSA - Alternative Resource Provision

Brooklands School have an exciting opportunity for experienced LSAs to join the support team in our Alternative Resource Provision for pupils with Autism. This provision provides education to 12 primary aged pupils with a diagnosis of autism and has been commissioned by Central Bedfordshire to support the increased number of primary aged children with an EHC plan stating Autism as the main special education need.

Although housed in a separate building the provision will be part of the mainstream school and, where appropriate, children will join the main school for learning and activities.

This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who are committed to supporting the education and emotional development of pupils who have Autism and can demonstrate challenging behaviours and sensory difficulties and can become overwhelmed.
