In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing roadwork activities in your area to ensure the safety of vehicles and pedestrians. You will ensure that all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to traffic, while working closely with stakeholders and managing public feedback.

• Assess and regulate roadwork applications, scrutinising how road space is used and determining whether proposed lane closures or diversions are necessary.
• Use traffic data to evaluate the potential impact of proposed works and recommend suitable work hours that align high‑impact work with periods of lower traffic demand.
