LV Electrical Operative (Cat4) in Chesterfield

LV Electrical Operatives (Cat 4) Field‑Based | South of England | Long‑Term Project £420 – £550 per day

We’re looking for experienced Cat 4 Qualified LV Electrical Operatives to support a major UK Distribution Network Operator (DNO) LV monitoring rollout. This role involves installing Low Voltage monitoring devices within substations and LV pillars as part of a nationally significant smart network programme. Initial deployment will focus on the South of England, with further expansion planned.

Responsibilities

• Installing LV monitoring equipment on live distribution networks
• Working safely in LV pillars and substations
• Following DNO safety rules, permits, and method statements
• Completing installation and QA documentation
• Attending vendor and network training as required
• Authorisations: SSE Cat 4E (training supported for suitable candidates)
