Job Description
The LPN/LVN is a vitality specialist that helps change the lives of patients and residents each day. This position is for the 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am shifts. A LPV/LVN is responsible for providing a full range of nursing in an interdisciplinary environment including: -Treatments -Care Planning -Medication Administration -Provision of Direct Patient Care -Problem Solving -Monitoring Patient Care provided by unlicensed staff.The LVN Charge Nurse must arrive to shift on time (7 mins before 7 mins after shift) .
The LVN Charge Nurse must Complete CNA’s assignment for the shift on the binder and on the board
Review 24 hour report with charge nurse from the previous shift.
The LVN Charge Nurse must do the narcotic count (sign on shift must be completed at this time’s) all narcotic count sheets verified
Room rounds with off going nurse ( make sure CNA’s are also doing rounds )
