M&A Analyst - Energy

Country: Spain – Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) – Energy sector based out of Luca de Tena Office (Madrid).

Responsibilities

• Building and reviewing detailed financial models, including operating models, DCFs, merger and accretion/dilution analyses, valuation frameworks, and sensitivities.
• Performing valuation work using DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and other relevant sector‑specific approaches.
• Preparing high‑quality client materials, including pitch books, strategic reviews, management presentations, information memoranda, board materials and internal approval documents.
• Supporting live transaction execution across M&A and IPO processes, including due diligence coordination, workstream management and interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
