A leading industrial company situated in KwaZulu-Natal is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Machine Operator to join their team.
The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:
Setting and Operating CNC & Conventional Machines:
Create CNC programs from ISO/SANS drawings. Ability to set up, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills independently. Operate the CNC machines, VMC milling lathes, conventional machine and bore mill. Reduce set up time and machining time through process improvements. Maintain all machine shop repair and maintenance records. Inspect completed work for conformance to specification using tools such as callipers, height gauges, micrometers, rulers etc. Provide assistance for upload / download programs, set up data through the machine HMI panel.
