Job Description

 MACHINE SHOP MANAGER - MANUFACTURING (CAPE TOWN)  Responsibilities   Responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of a CNC and conventional machine shop within a heavy industrial environment. The role ensures efficient production planning, machine utilisation, quality compliance, and team supervision while driving productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.  
 Requirements   Grade 12 plus relevant trade qualification and/or tertiary qualification  
10+ years’ manufacturing/production experience post trade test  
 Minimum 5 years’ management experience  
 Strong CNC machining knowledge (milling and turning) 
 Competent in Mastercam and G-code programming  
 Experience in production planning and workshop management  
 Strong understanding of OHSA and safety compliance  
 Computer literate (MS Office) 
 Valid driver’s licence and own transport
