**Job Title: Machinist / Sheet Metal Assembly Mechanic**
**Job Description**
This role combines hands-on machining with sheet metal assembly work in an aircraft and aerospace manufacturing environment. You will operate production machines, perform precision sheet metal assembly, and help meet growing backlog demands on a first-shift schedule. The position is based in Wichita, Kansas within an assembly and machining division that supports aviation suppliers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and monitor sheet metal and machining equipment safely and efficiently during first-shift operations (Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).
+ Perform complex and varied aircraft/aerospace assemblies using sheet metal components and related hardware.
+ Read and interpret detailed blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to plan and execute assembly and machining tasks accurately.
