Job Summary
The Machinist is responsible for executing the machining operation as per routing, machining the part as per engineering drawing, and performing dimensional inspection.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Execute the machining operation as per routing
- Machine the part as per engineering drawing
- Operate CNC machine
- Monitor machining parameters and provide feedback to programmer if necessary
- Perform dimensional inspection
- Perform fixture, tool and part setup
- Maintain good housekeeping at workplace
- Report all daily activities via MII Systems
- Wear required PPE while doing the work
- Provide assistance to superior whenever required
- Ensure compliance to all health, safety and environment policies
