Machinist

Location: Paya Lebar. Salary: $2,200 to $2,800 per month. Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Period: 1 year renewable contract.

• Set up and operate CNC & NC machines according to production schedule while meeting all specification requirements.
• Perform simple troubleshooting, basic daily machine maintenance, and maintain 6S housekeeping.
• Read, interpret and execute various machining work using CNC and NC vertical/horizontal lathes involving milling, turning and grinding per the engine manual requirements.
• Meet tight and demanding repair production schedule and delivery requirements.
• Suggest new tooling design and modification to existing tooling when required.
• Participate in cost control initiatives and continuous improvement projects/events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
