Magnetic Particle Inspector level 3

**Overview**

Element Materials Technology is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented **NDT Technician (Level II or Level III)** specializing in Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to support aerospace and industrial testing operations in the Hartford laboratory. This role is responsible for performing inspections in accordance with industry standards while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and safety.

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000/yr DOE

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on aerospace and industrial components in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications (e.g., ASTM, NAS, customer requirements)
+ Interpret and evaluate indications to determine acceptability of parts
+ Set up, calibrate, and operate MPI equipment (bench units)
+ Ensure compliance with Nadcap, customer, and internal quality requirements
